Lenny stayed in New Orleans to ride out hurricane Katrina. Thanks to his good friend Ronnie LeBouef who let him, two friends and his beloved dog Cleo stay at his studio which he designed and built and promised would survive . After eight hours of pounding from mother nature, two days later, after the water went down, went back to check on his house it miraculously survived so did his truck. He spent the night in his house, no electricity, being eaten by mosquitoes, packed enough clothes and equipment and headed north ended up in Lafayette La. rented an apartment where he stayed for six months til he sold his house in New Orleans. took everything he owned and moved to Las Vegas. He wrote a song called The Big Easy Is Just Not Easy Anymore as closure and is movin' on .
